Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 merupakan sebuah event untuk siwa-siswi kelas 9 di SMP Laboratorium UM untuk memenuhi tugas mata pelajaran Prakarya yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kepada Murid – Murid untuk belajar berwirausaha.
Pelaksanaan Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 dibagi menjadi 2 sesi yang dilaksanakan pada Hari Jumat Tanggal 30 Agustus 2019 dan Jumat Tanggal 6 September 2019. Produk yang dipamerkan pada Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 tercatat sebanyak 50 produk yang terbagi menjadi beberapa jenis produk diantaranya 45 produk pengolahan makanan, 4 produk rekayasa, dan 1 produk kerajinan.
Sebelum kegiatan ini dilaksanakan ada beberapa tahap yang harus dilakukan oleh siswa. Tahap pertama siswa kelas 9A-H diminta untuk membentuk kelompok beranggotakan 4 orang untuk menghasilkan suatu produk yang nantinya akan diperjual belikan. Setelah pembentukan kelompok siswa diminta untuk membuat proposal perencanaan produk, isi dari proposal tersebut antara lain adalah deskripsi produk, manfaat, strategi pemasaran, target pasar, analisis persaingan, rencana desain dan pengembangan, rencana operasi dan manajemen, serta analisis rencana keuangan.
Setelah pembuatan proposal, masing-masing kelompok diminta untuk mempresentasikan hasil dari penyusunan ide usaha. Saat pelaksanaan presentasi setiap kelompok diberi pertanyaan mengenai produk serta akandiberi masukan mengenai produk yang telah dibuat. Tahap yang kedua adalah pembuatan logo.
Setiap kelompok usaha diminta untuk membuat logo dari produk yang akan dibuat.
Logo dibuat semenarik mungkin dan dapat merepresentasikan produk mereka untuk mengundang para komsumen membeli produk mereka.
Tahap ketiga siswa membuat Media promosi melalui akun instagram, facebook, youtube, dan sebagainya. Terakhir siswa melakukan sharing produk. Dalam tahap ini siswa memberikan tester kepada guru dan teman-teman di kelas maupun kelas yang lain. Pada tahap ini siswa memberikan komentar dan masukan terhadap produk yang dihasilkan.
Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 dibuka dengan sambutan dan pemotongan pita oleh ibu Dra. Yayuk Prihatnawati, M.Pd selaku kepala SMP Laboratorium UM. Dalam sambutannya beliau menyampaikan bahwa, “sekolah kita sudah memiliki acara yang bagus seperti ini, semoga acara ini bisa menjadi agenda rutin sekolah.
Selain itu salah satu anggota komite juga turut hadir dan memberikan apresiasi yaitu orang tua dari Rachelina kelas 9E yang lebih akrab disapa dengan mama Tatik selaku bendahara komite. Beliau berpendapat bahwa acara ini sangat baik untuk memberikan pengalaman
berharga kepada siswa tentang pentingnya menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha sejak dini.
Disisi lain kehadiran Mafarrel Kavindra Nurhadi dari kelas 8A cukup menarik perhatian pengunjung bazar. Mafarrel membuka stand sendiri di pojok dekat pintu masuk bazar. Dia menggelar alas dan menata buku-bukunya disana untuk dibaca bersama para pengunjung bazar. Jenis buku yang di sediakan Mafarrel cukup beragam dari komik hingga buku filsafat.
Banyak siswa yang berkunjung di stand buku Maferrel untuk membaca buku sambil menikmati makanan dan minuman yang mereka beli di stand bazar.
Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 ini juga mendapatkan banyak respons positif dari para Siswa dan Siswi SMP Laboratorium UM Malang, “Menurut saya acara Lab’s Entrepreneur itu meriah dan bagus karena Anak – Anak setiap kelas menjual dagangannya dengan cara yang unik dan melalui medsos juga” ucap Arifin Jati Kusumo. “Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival 2019 ini cukup baik, produk yang dijual di bazar menarik, saking menariknya sempet kehabisan kemarin” ucap Azzahra Keisha Khoirina.
Diharapkan setelah melaksanakan event ini Siswa dan Siswi SMP Laboratorium UM Malang mempunyai motivasi dan pengalaman untuk berwirausaha. Rencananya Lab’s Entrepreneur Festival akan dilaksanakan setiap tahun mulai tahun 2019 ini.
